Nutrition

I completed my undergraduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I am currently continuing my graduate study in PhD Nutrition with a transfer from MS in Animal sciences. For my PhD dissertation, I have a research focus in animal nutrition. In this regards, I am conducting experiments to evaluate the effect of supplemental multi-enzymes and probiotics on the improvements in digestibility of different nutrients in chickens fed on high fiber diets.
Apart from research and coursework in my graduate study, I have served as a teaching assistant in various subjects like anatomy, comparative nutrition, community nutrition, advance animal nutrition, meat science, genetics, grant writing and statistics. In 2016, I received Faith C. Ai Memorial scholarship as recognition of being capable to quest for excellence as educator. My carrier goal is to become a proficient professor at a university where I can teach college students, so I can pass my skills and knowledge and work as a competent researcher in animal production and nutritional health. Besides my professional career, I have an impelling conscience to contribute in bringing changes in the present scenario where some people are facing health problems due to improper nutrition while others suffer due to lack of access to it.
